The "CDtipsPS" document is a two page document which culls all the CricketDraw tips and shortcuts listed in the manual (v 1.1) and writtewn up in various publications. It also provides valuable examples of the undocumented "transfer modes" features. "CDtipsPS" was created in Pagemaker and saved in PostScript format so that it takes up less disc space. The Aldus Prep information is included in the document so you will not need Pagemaker 2.0 to print it.
To print "CDtipsPS" you must download it to a Laserwriter Plus using a download utilty such as ADOBE’s "SENDPS".
The document is designed to print out manually rather than with the paper tray so that you can make a two sided copy and fold it up to make a convenient card similar to the ones that come with Apple/Claris and Pagemaker software.
Once you begin the download the first page will take about 7.5 minutes to print. (It contains some complicated graphics made in CricketDraw and this accounts for the long print time). When the manual sheet feed light on your printer glows continuosly you may insert an 8.5 x 11 page.
The second page takes about 2 minutes to print. When the manual print light begins to glow continuosly again it is time to insert the paper for page #2. To make a two sided copy insert your page one into the manual sheet feeder with the print face down and its left hand side facing in to the printer (so that the top of the page — with the title CricketDRAW v 1.1 — Is facing towards the front of the printer). Fold this two sided page in half to get a handy card just like the ones many other programs provide.
